Tangerine Prep FAQ
Clear answers before you choose your PNLE review app.
What is Tangerine Prep?
Tangerine Prep is a PNLE practice and review platform. It includes practice questions, detailed rationales, flashcards, visual cheat sheets, study planning, and reports that help you find weak areas. It works best as the practice and feedback part of your review plan.
Is Tangerine Prep a review center?
No. Tangerine Prep does not replace live lectures, instructors, or review center classes. You can use it with a review center or for self-review. It helps you practice what you studied, understand mistakes, and decide what to review next.
Can Tangerine Prep guarantee that I will pass the PNLE?
No reviewer or app can honestly guarantee a passing result. Tangerine Prep can help with practice, explanations, planning, and weak-area review. Your result still depends on your foundation, consistency, judgment, and exam-day performance.
Are Tangerine Prep questions generated by AI?
No. The question bank is not generated live by AI. The questions and rationales are based on nursing references and go through a content review process. AI is used for features such as finding weak areas, reviewing performance, and giving optional explanations.
Does Tangerine Prep explain every answer choice?
Yes. The rationales explain why each answer choice is correct or incorrect, not only why the correct answer is right. Rationales may also include nursing sources, definitions, clinical images, diagrams, or audio when these help explain the topic.
Who reviews the questions and rationales?
Questions and rationales go through review with PNLE topnotchers. Verified questions can also show reviewer information inside the app.
Does Tangerine Prep follow the current PNLE TOS?
Tangerine Prep organizes its study plan and practice coverage around the current PNLE Table of Specifications. Students should still check the latest PRC documents because the official coverage can change.
Are harder questions always better for PNLE review?
No. A harder question is not automatically closer to the real PNLE. A useful question should test an important concept, follow the current coverage, provide a defensible answer, and explain the reasoning clearly. No app can honestly promise the exact PNLE questions or question style.
Can I try Tangerine Prep before paying?
Yes. You can use the free version to experience the actual practice workflow before subscribing. Try 30 to 50 questions from one weak NP. Check whether the rationales help, whether the sources are useful, and whether the reports make your next study step clearer.
Is Tangerine Prep useful for students with a short attention span?
It can help because you can complete short practice sessions and review on a phone. Start with 10 to 20 questions. Read every rationale before starting another set. Ten questions that you fully understand are more useful than 100 questions that you rush through.
Can I use Tangerine Prep while working or attending a review center?
Yes. Short mobile sessions can fit between work, classes, or other responsibilities. Use short sessions for review and weak topics. You should still schedule quiet, timed practice for difficult sets and mock exams.
Can I use Tangerine Prep offline?
Selected study content, including supported flashcard packs, can be prepared for offline use. Not every Tangerine Prep feature works fully offline. Download the content you need before travelling or losing internet access.
Does Tangerine Prep include flashcards and cheat sheets?
Yes. Tangerine Prep includes authored flashcards, personal packs, community packs, and visual cheat sheets. These tools work best after question practice. Use them to reinforce a concept you missed instead of collecting material you may never review.
What is the best way to test Tangerine Prep?
Use it for seven days. Choose one weak NP, answer a short set without notes, read every rationale, check important sources, and save repeated mistakes as flashcards. Practice the weak topic again after one or two days. Then check whether you understand the mistake and know what to study next.
